Two things iPhone OS 4.0 should have

I personally feel that there are at least two things missing from the iPhone OS 4.0 that was revealed to us on the 8th April. The two features that I would love to see are a customisable lock screen that shows information that I want to see on the lock screen and wireless syncing to iTunes.

I have discussed one of these lacking features before but still no official Apple solution. I personally have jailbroken my iPhone on occasion for the ability to customise the iPhone’s lock screen. I would love to see Apple’s take on some of the programs out there such as intelliscreen, or lockinfo.

The below video shows just what is capable using lockinfo to customise your lockscreen:

This is one feature that I would love to see Apple try and incorporate into a future OS. Secondly a feature that has been talked about for a long time is wireless syncing to your iTunes library. It has only recently come to surface that there is an app called WiFiSync which is currently in the approval process with Apple to get onto the App store. A video of the app in action can be seen below:

I hope this gets approved but with the way Apple restrict apps on the app store it’s unlikely this will see the light of the App store, I am sure the jailbreaking community will welcome it with open arms though.
