Today we have received news on the iPad pricing and more ahead of its pre-order on Monday. Here are the main facts that we know so far:
iPad will be sold at all UK retail Apple stores, Authorised resellers and online
Launch date will be Friday 28th May in the UK and some areas of Europe
Orange have released pricey iPad 3G tariffs

Well as a loyal Apple lover in the UK we are used to the slight hike in prices and waiting slightly longer that our american friends across the pond, with the iPad launch this is no different. We are waiting for Apple to open up pre order so that we may receive a pricing structure and all being well a definite date to when the iPad will be launched.

Apple today reported their streak of having their highest non holiday quarterly earnings ever, with 8.75 million iPhones shifted up 131% and 2.94 million macs up 33% and with 10.89 million iPods. This has seen their profits up 90%.

When the iPad was unveiled back in January it was met with mixed opinions and doubt of whether or not it would fill the gap between smart phones and laptops, dispelling netbooks that “aren’t good at anything”.
