I personally feel that there are at least two things missing from the iPhone OS 4.0 that was revealed to us on the 8th April. The two features that I would love to see are a customisable lock screen that shows information that I want to see on the lock screen and wireless syncing to iTunes.

The internet has been awash with information regarding a supposed lost and then found prototype next generation iPhone since late Sunday evening. Initially reported by Engadget and then today Gizmodo went one step further (i’ll assume to get one up on Engadget) and actually have said prototype.

So with only one more day to go until the 4th iteration of the iPhone OS is revealed, what are your hopes and expectations for the event?
Personally I think a lot of what the iPad can do has not been touched yet, the 3.2 version that came with it is only a stop gap, come tomorrow Steve will be BOOM-ing on stage and will hopefully reveal a few new features that really will make it an even better buy.

After having participated in an ongoing discussion here; which discussed a users own opinions on not jailbreaking his own iPhone. This morning I woke up to find that macrumors.com (my favourite rumor site and forum) is reporting it has found hints relating to the next release of the iPhone! YAY! We all had an inkling that our favourite fruit flavoured company was working on the next one, but its good to see some hard evidence.
